How to Measure Your Child's Head

Finding the right hat size is simple! Follow these easy steps to ensure the perfect fit for your little one.

What You'll Need
A soft measuring tape (preferred), or
A piece of string and a ruler

Step 1: Measure the Head Circumference

Place the measuring tape around your child's head:

✓ Just above the eyebrows
✓ Above the ears
✓ Around the widest part of the back of the head

Make sure the tape sits comfortably snug—not too tight and not too loose.

Step 2: Read the Measurement

Record the measurement in centimetres (cm).

If using string:

Wrap the string around the head as described above.
Mark where the string meets.
Lay the string flat and measure it with a ruler.

Step 3: Choose Your Spiekeriesh Hat Size

6 Months – 3 Years
Fits head circumference up to approximately 52cm

3 – 6 Years
Fits head circumference approximately 52cm–55cm

Between Sizes?

If your child falls between sizes, we generally recommend choosing the larger size. The adjustable toggle helps create a secure and comfortable fit while allowing room for growth.
